What brands do you associate with?
I don’t really pay much attention to brands. I know which ones are quality and I’m happy to have them, but I usually buy preloved, so… I’m not sure I really qualify as somebody who associates with a brand. Do Goodwill and Salvation Army count?
Come to think of it, I associate really well (if associate means spend small fortunes) with secondhand bookstores, so where I am, these would be Books for Less (watch me frantically paw through boxes of books at their warehouse sales), Book Sale (mi amor, mi amigo – it’s a love story that dates back to the ‘90s), and Chapters and Pages (!!! I’m not sure if it’s true for every branch, but the one in Ayala Mall by the Bay had an awesome selection, truly after my own heart and at such great prices!!! You can tell how excited I am.🙃).
Is this what the prompt was asking for?😆 I don’t think so. I’m trying to think of a brand that I really patronize, and I’m drawing a blank. I’m looking around my house and I see all sorts. I guess I think most of them have something good to offer, especially if they’re on sale.😁
The closest I can go to associating with a brand is probably related to our penchant for vintage vehicles, particularly those from the Volkswagen marque. If there’s a vintage VW find we can afford, then it’s a must-buy. Afford is the operative word.😁
Speaking of which, we do have businesses, so I guess they can be considered a brand? They’re not household names or anything, but I personally associate with them. Two of them actually involve vintage vehicles. One is Photobus Manila, a mobile photo booth housed in a vintage VW bus.
The other is a classic car restoration business. This is under the PetrolHead brand, which has a car wash and detailing division as well as a repair and restoration one.

P.S. For that matter, I have an inactive author brand that I will revive one of these days. Hopefully sooner than later. We’ll see.😁
